bass line
I used the boo bass for pattern 1, 3 and 4. and bass acoustic from the sim synth, for 2 and 5. I had a good idea for most of the project and on the last pattern I hit more of a melody instead of a bass line. I used 3 different drum loops from the fpc. I used the first drum loop for the first pattern, the second on 2 and 5, and the third on 3 and 4.

I really like listing to this song. I like pattern 1 and 3 a lot. The way you transfer in to the next pattern work pretty well. I can't wait to hear your next songs that you make.
ReplyDeleteI like all of the patterns here, but I don't see how they go together. It's like I'm shuffling through a bunch of different songs. I'd really like to hear you develop one of your bass ideas instead on coming up with a completely new one in the same song. Good use of the bass overall. It's in a good expressive register and plays nicely with the drums.
ReplyDeleteWow. I have to say I was surprised with the intencity at the begining. The patterns are interesting but they don't all mesh together. Maybe if the fills were more orentered toward the following loop instead of the previous the sounds would flow more easily. The bass sounds, in whole, sound very good.
